Call for Posters

Deadline: November 7 November 15
Notification: rolling

Posters Co-Chair: Adam Aviv, USNA
Posters Co-Chair: Kevin Roundy, Symantec Research Labs

The poster session provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present their new and innovative preliminary work in an informal, interactive setting. Conference attendees can learn about novel on-going research projects that might not yet be complete, but whose preliminary results are already interesting. Poster presenters will have an opportunity to discuss their work and get invaluable feedback from knowledgeable sources at an early stage of their research.

What are the interested topics?

Topics of interest are the same as those for papers. We are looking for posters that address just about any current security topic. We are particularly interested in work that shares real-life experiences including actual system or product implementation, deployment, and lessons learned.

How do I submit a poster?

Poster proposals should be at most 2 pages in length and should briefly describe the objectives of the current work, any accomplishments to date, and future plans. Poster proposals should be submitted in PDF format. When available, a Make Submission button will appear above. Poster proposals are not anonymous, so please make sure you include author information (name, affiliation, country) in your proposal. Any questions should be sent to posters@acsac.org.

What happens if I get accepted?

Authors will be expected to bring their finished poster to the conference and present it during one evening of the conference. You will be required to setup your poster beforehand and stand with your poster during that time (about 75 minutes). Details on poster formats will be emailed to authors before the conference (probably to be attached to a 40x30 inch backing).

The poster proposals will be posted on conference website. A poster is not considered to be a prior publication of the work and may be reused for later publications if appropriate.
