Abstract:
This topic area has taken on new significance over the past couple of years as new threats have emerged that challenge the integrity of traditional election processes, both here in the United States and around the world. While some of these threats, e.g., fake news, are beyond our control, they underscore the importance of authenticity, anonymity, and accountability in our election processes. This session will address these challenges from the state and local perspective.
