IMSI-Catch Me If You Can: IMSI-Catcher-Catchers

IMSI Catchers are used in mobile networks to attack, track, identify, and eavesdrop on cell phones. As prices dropped, and self-made devices have been demonstrated for US$ 1,500 it is not assured that these devices are only in authorized hands.
In this paper, we identify and describe multiple methods of detecting artifacts produced by such devices. We present two independent implementations of an IMSI Catcher Catcher (ICC).
