    Friday Highlight:

This combination tour begins at the Desert Botanical Garden where we will see a unique collection of plant life of deserts and other arid lands. Most of the plants grow out of doors in their natural settings. See Fish Hook Cactus, the Upside Down Tree, Boojum Tree, Hedgehog Cactus and beautiful spring blossoms on a self-guided walking tour.

The Tour continues on to the Heard Museum where we will see an extensive collection of art and crafts of ancient cultures as well as contemporary works led by a docent. The "southwest studies" exhibit features three actual indian dwellings as they look on today's reservations. Visitors to these interactive displays will come away with a new appreciation for the strength and beauty of Native American ways of life.

Gift shops at both locations offer the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of exclusive southwestern gifts.

Sign up for this event on the enclosed registration form. Fee for this event is $30.00. A voucher will be enclosed in your registration packet. A bus will pick you up at our hotel, transport you to the garden and return you to the hotel later. Attendance will be limited to 40 people. Pre-registration is required.

Now that you know how great this conference will be, it's time to register.
