Scholarship for Women Studying Information Security (SWSIS)
The ACSA SWSIS program offers a $10,000 scholarship to a woman for use in her junior or senior year of undergraduate studies, or first year of a graduate program (i.e., application may be made in the spring of her sophomore, junior, or senior year, or the spring before entering a graduate program if a bachelor's degree has already been completed). The scholarship is administered by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Apply for the ACSA scholarship through SWE at https://scholarships.swe.org/applications/login.asp
Qualifications for the scholarship are:
Funds for the scholarship are paid to the recipient's college or university by SWE for use in paying tuition, fees, etc.
The application window is December 1, 2011-February 15, 2012, with all applications due by 5pm Eastern time on the last day of the window. No extensions are allowed.
ACSA is a non-profit organization that sponsors information security conferences and workshops including ACSAC and NSPW.
